XLI) includes a paper by T. Mr\u00f3z: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cairn.info\/revue-de-philosophie-ancienne-2023-2-page-375.htm?contenu=resume\">Polish Translations of Plato\u2019s Dialogues from the Beginnings to the Mid-Twentieth Century<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:25% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"204\" height=\"299\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aphr.ifil.uz.zgora.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/RPHA_412.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-612 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In his paper T. Mr\u00f3z focuses on four most significant translators of Plato&#8217;s dialogues in Poland. They were: Felicjan Antoni Koz\u0142owski (1805-1870), who was the first translator of Plato into Polish; Antoni Bronikowski (1817-1884), who was the most productive in the 19th century and kept on working on Plato in spite of unfavourable reviews; Stanis\u0142aw Lisiecki (1872-1960), whose numerous translations remained unpublished; and finally W\u0142adys\u0142aw Witwicki (1878-1948), whose renderings of the dialogues are still widely read.
